ÎÀÎ «Kirovskiy Zavod» and the city

Kirovskiy factory is the face of industrial St.Petersburg. The company extensively supports different projects of municipal improvements, infrastructure development, maintenance and protection of the unique historical heritage of the Northern capital. Products of the company are used for kitting-up road-building equipment used in the construction of dam, ring road and road junctions. Kirovskiy factory took part in such large municipal projects as: repair of Okhta bridge and Alexander Nevsky bridge, construction of bearings for contact lighting network for the Square of Labor, doing repair works at the Leningrad nuclear power plant. Utilities for the North-Western and Southern heat stations and the tunnel shield for the Metro station “Ploshchad Muzhestva” were constructed at the plant. Taking part in the projects of the city maintenance and development, OAO “Kirovskiy Zavod” cooperates with the open joint-stock company “Lenenergo”, State enterprise «St.Petersburg Vodokanal», St.Petersburg subway, Sea port, etc.

Healthy family policy

Health-improving camp for children “Young Kirovets” located in the village Siversky on the bank of the river Oredezh is one of the oldest facilities not only in the Leningrad region but also in Russia. It was founded in 1930 as a tent camp of pioneers of Moscow-Narva outpost. Today “Young Kirovets” has it own comfortable beach. Territory of the camp is 47.5 hectares. More than 200 000 children have visited this place during 69 years of the camp existence.

Health and Recreation

The health center “White Nights” located 25 km from the center of Sochi in the coastal part of the mountain valley offers a wide range of therapeutic and health-improving services: diagnostics, physiotherapeutic procedures, inhalatorium, balneotherapy, shower, phytotherapy, remedial gymnastics. Due to the unique natural and climatic conditions of the Black sea coast and the presence of modern medical technologies, the health resort is open all year round. The territory of the resort is 10 hectares with 7 hectares of Kuban Subtropical Botanic garden.

Sport

The sport club “Kirovets” is successfully operating on the basis of OAO “Kirovskiy Zavod”. More than 1.5 thousand people attend different sections of the club in 18 kind s of sport. Not only the workers and their family members but also citizens of the Kirovsky and other city regions attend the club.

Every year “Kirovets” holds more than 40 sport events, among which are championships and tounaments in mini-football, volleyball, track and field athletics, table tennis, chess, tourism, "Days of health”, summer and winter sports days in several kinds of sport and sport holidays. In September a traditional athletic "Memory race" along the Leningrad south-western defense line has taken place for 25 years already.

Implementing various social projects OAO “Kirovskiy Zavod” initiated the first sports day among the young workers of St.Petersburg industrial enterprises in 2006. Together with "Kirovskiy Zavod" such large municipal enterprises as “Admiralty Shipyards”, “Obukhovets”, “Arsenal”, “Zvezda”, "Kozitskiy" factory, etc. took part in the event.

The sport club “Kirovets” offers the facilities for the sportsmen of high class that take part both in Russian and international competitions.
