Every year the management of the Kirov factory announces who the best staff members are awarding them a status of “Honoured Kirovets” (Zasluzhenniy Kirovets) and present them with a sign of honour named “For the Young Kirovets Successful Work” (Molodomu kirovtsu za uspehi v trude).

The staff member can be awarded a Status of “Honoured Kirovets” for:

• a significant contribution to development of economic potential of the factory;
• a high individual success achieved in improving the quality of product;
• good results in developing new equipment and high technologies and introducing them into manufacturing;
• creating new ideas and projects, taking part in rationalization and inventive activities;
• constructive participation in professional training and upbringing of the rising generation according to the traditions of the factory.

During the celebration of the Day of factory all employees of the Kirov factory awarded a status of “Honoured Kirovets” are ceremonially presented with a sign, ribbon, certificate, and reward. Their portraits are placed in the hall of labour fame of the factory and the names are put down into the factory book of labour fame.

A sign called “For the Young Kirovets Successful Work” is awarded to young staff members under 30 years of age having three-year work experience and making good advance in labour activity. During the celebration of the Day of factory all employees of the Kirov factory awarded the sign are ceremonially presented with a certificate, souvenir, and reward.
